To provide an adjustable lens assembly by which the distorted bias of a driving shaft for an optical axis is eliminated and which has a transmitting mechanism having the several kinds of degree of freedom.
This adjustable lens assembly has at least one guiding member 20 having a shaft parallel with the optical axis of a lens barrel 10 in order to guide the moving direction of the lens barrel 10. It has the lens barrel for holding a lens, a gear shaft 30 moved by a driving source, a driving member 40 fit in the gear shaft, and a coupling mechanism for connecting the lens barrel and the driving member. The coupling mechanism adjusts the three-dimensional distorted bias between the optical axis or the guiding member and the gear shaft so as to smoothly move the lens barrel with the several kinds of degree of freedom.
