Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adsorbent that adsorbs and removes a strontium ion and the like in a solution, further enables desorption/regeneration and can be repeatedly used.SOLUTION: The adsorbent adsorbs an ion, is composed of a hydrous aluminosilicate particle and has an Si/Al molar ratio of 1.3 to 10.0, a powder pH of 10 to 12 and a BET specific surface area of 100 to 300 m/g. The adsorbent can be produced by mixing a water-soluble silicon raw material, a water-soluble aluminum raw material and an alkali raw material and reacting them at a pH of a reaction solution in the range of 10.0 to 12.5 at a reaction temperature of 10 to 110°C.SELECTED DRAWING: None
