Abstract:
PURPOSE: To administer a medicine as a shape of aerosol into the lung, while maintaining the airway by providing a nozzle which is positioned inside a hollow tube body in a distal end of a canal and a means which couples a proximal end of the canal with an aerosol feeding part. CONSTITUTION: An endotracheal tube 20 is provided with a hollow tube body 22 having a proximal end 24 and a distal end 26, an aerosol administration canal 38 extending along, at least, a part of the hollow tube body 22, a nozzle 52 positioned inside the tube body 22 in a distal point of the canal 38, and a coupler for coupling an aerosol feeding part 58 with a proximal end of the aerosol administration canal 38. This constitution introduces a medicine to be administered as aerosol in an air flowing in the endotracheal tube 20 so as to efficiently administer a small amount of the medicine and easily control a unit administration amount.
