Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an aggregate composite material which can be mixed with a hot mix asphalt used for the surface of roads or roadways by compounding a cement solid material (C) comprising a cement (A) and a solid oxide product (B) of natural asphalt, and an effective amt. of additive (D) selected among alkali silicate, alkali fluorosilicate, latex emulsion (vinyl acetate) and phenol resin.
SOLUTION: The component (A) is a type-I Portland cement. The component (B) is a material containing a solid oxide product produced by combusting a water-based emulsion of natural asphalt produced in Orinoco Belt in Venezuela, and this is commercially available as a trademark of Orimulsion. The component (C) consists of 40-99.9wt.% of (A) and 0.1-60wt.% of (B). The component (D) is used in an effective amt. so that the (C) component can be held in a formed block, and for example, is used by 1-5wt.%.
