Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag device capable of suppressing the abnormal sound generating between a reaction ring having an air bag, and a lid part provided on the same surface with an inner packing panel.
SOLUTION: This air bag device has a lid part 3 and a reaction ring 4. The lid part 3 is provided almost at the same surface with an instrument panel. The reaction ring 4 has an outer case 6 provided at the rear surface side of the lid part 3, an inflator 7, and an air bag. The lid part 3 has overhangs 11 and 12 abutting to the upper and the lower surfaces of the outer case 6. To the outer case 6, a locking claw 13 projecting to the outer side of the reaction ring 4 is provided. To the overhangs 11 and 12, rectangular locking holes locking claws 13 are fitted closely are provided. Around the locking hole 14, a pair of slits 15 are provided. The slit 15 and the area at its inner side form a receiver as a slip part.
