Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove air of a cooling water passage, in an air bleeding device of a water jacket for engine cooling which is provided in an inclined state to an engine mounted to a ship or the like.
SOLUTION: This air bleeding device of the water jacket for engine cooling is mounted to the engine in inclined state in a longitudinal direction of the engine for ship. In this air bleeding device, a communication pipe 8 for connecting a supply port 2 for cooling water with the cooling water passage or a cooling water pump inside a cylinder head 5 at a side positioned to an upper part in the inclined state is provided, and the cooling water passage inside the cylinder head 5 at the side positioned to the upper part and the cooling water pump 4 are connected to each other via an exhaust manifold 3. Further, the cooling water pump 4 is mounted to the cylinder head 5, and a hole 10 for connecting the cooling water passage with the cooling water pump 4 is arranged to the cylinder head 5.
