Abstract:
PURPOSE:To efficiency collect dust, etc., and to improve stability in the floating of a magnetic head by providing an air cleaner consisting of a carbon filter and a dust elimination filter provided in the neighborhood of the filter between plural magnetic disks on the upstream side of the magnetic head. CONSTITUTION:The air cleaner 4 collects the dust with the dust elimination filter 5 when the air including floating dust and evaporation substance flows in from the direction of arrow head B of a container 41 by air current generated by the rotation of the magnetic disk 2, and collects the evaporation substance passing through the filter 5 with the micro porous carbon fiber of a gas filter 7. In the filter 7, possibility that fiber substance is peeled and is floated exists, however, it collects the fiber substance with the dust elimination filter 6 arranged at an air outflow side shown in arrow head C and prevents the substance flowing out to a device.
