Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that flow rate distribution on the downstream side in an intake air flow direction from flow straightening grating disposed on an entrance part of an outlet disturbs and the influence of folding fluctuation in an element formed in a pleated shape remains in the conventional air cleaner.SOLUTION: In an air cleaner, whole area mesh 7 is arranged so as to occupy not an entrance part of an outlet 9 but the whole area of a clean side 5 of a cap 2. Therein, the whole area mesh 7 is arranged so as to come into non-contact with other component including an element 6 on up and down-stream in the intake air flow direction of a flow straightening part 31, thereby, the flow of intake air can be efficiently straightened on the upstream side in the intake air flow direction from an air-flow meter 10 and, therefore, disturbance of intake air accompanied by influence of folding fluctuation of the element 6 pleated such that a mountain part and a valley part are alternately repeated can be prevented.
