PURPOSE: To efficiently perform replacement of fan equipped with motor in such a way that a case to integrate a fan box is assembled by a fixed case part to the vehicle and a separating case part which can be freely mounted thereon and dismounted therefrom.

CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner for vehicle provides an intake box 4 having an outer air intake port 1 and an inner air intake port, and a fan box 7 in which a fan 6 equipped with motor 5 is provided is connected thereto, and so on. In this case, the fan box 7 is assembled by a fixed case part 40 and a separating case part 41 to the vehicle. For the conneting and separating parts of the both case parts 40, 41, as seal 42 for example, urethane made seat is provided, and the separating part 41 is pivotally fixed to be mounted on the fixed case 40 and dismounted therefrom. Thus, mounting and dismounting of the fan can be done at the lower part to its axial line, so that mounting and dismounting can be easily done, and the space necessary at the time of mounting and dismounting can be retrenched.
