Title:
AIR CONDITIONER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2013181671
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To solve problems that, when a conventional conditioner is started by means of a timer or home control, control is made so that an air blow-out vane is set downwardly or air quantity of a fan is increased, and thus when a person is actually present, the control causes the person to have an uncomfortable feeling, etc. and that, when a method of detecting absence of a person by an infrared sensor is employed, it is necessary to mount an expensive infrared sensor, leading to cost increase, etc.

An air conditioner includes: a temperature sensor for detecting a temperature of a heat exchanger or temperature of suction air; a controller 20 variably controlling an orientation of an air blow-out vane of an indoor unit or wind speed or air quantity of a blower fan; and a remote controller 21 performing remote control of an operation of the indoor unit. When presence/absence of external output/input is set by the remote controller 21 while heating is operated, the controller 20 sets at least the orientation of the air blow-out vane to be horizontal blowing or downward blowing on the basis of the setting of the presence/absence of the external output/input and the temperature of the heat exchanger or the temperature of the suction air, or changes wind speed or air quantity of the blower fan.
