PURPOSE: To obtain a multitude of variations of the flow of indoor air through employing both of an upper outlet air and lower outlet air and improve especially the comfortable property of air conditioning by a method wherein the rotating center of an airflow deflecting plate for an upper air outlet port is provided at the fore end of the air outlet port to outlet the upper outlet air with an arbitrary angle.
CONSTITUTION: The outlet angle of air which flows along an air guider 7 is regulated at the upper air outlet port 3 by an airflow deflecting plate 6. The rotating center of the airflow deflecting plate 6 is provided at a shaft 6a so as to be pivoted to and fixed at any arbitrary angle. According to this method, the outlet air, whose direction is controlled by the airflow direction deflecting plate 6, can be made to flow into any direction of forward, intermediate and upward. Built-in installation may be effected by guiding the outlet air forward by regulating the airflow direction deflecting plate. A temperature difference between the cooling surface side and the normal temperature surface side of the airflow direction deflecting plate 6 may be secured by constituting the same plate 6 of a shell pack structure and interposing a material having a high heat insulating property between a 2-piece member consisting of surfaces A, B. Accordingly, there is no possibility of dewing on the surface of the airflow direction deflecting plate 6 even when normal temperature air is contacted with the surface of the same plate 6.
