Title:
AIR CONDITIONER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH05231692
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To decide the sweating condition of a human body and control air conditioning so as to conform to a body condition.

CONSTITUTION: The detection of a sweating amount is made by a method wherein the amount of sweat accumulated in sweat glands of skin tissues 5 is detected by a resistance value 6 which varies according to variations in the amount of sweat accumulated. In this method, two electrode type sensors 7, 8 are attached to a skin surface 10, and variations in the resistance value 6 of the skin tissues 5 contacting with the electrode type sensor 7 are measured by causing a constant feeble current 9, which does not affect a human body, to flow through the electrode type sensors 7, 8, whereby a sweating amount is detected. Upon receipt of a signal produced by a sweating amount detecting means 12, a determination means 13 decides the sweating condition of a human body, and a device controlling means provided in an air conditioner changes the setting of a set temperature according to a decision signal from the determination means and controls a room temperature so as to stabilize the sweating condition.
