PURPOSE: To improve the operational durability of the titled device by a method wherein a connecting member, attached to the tip end of the operating rod of an air pressure operating mechanism, is engaged with a base to smoothen the reciprocating motion of the operating rod and preclude the unnecessary motion, such as vibration, pivoting or the like, of the operating rod.
CONSTITUTION: The diaphragm shaft (operating rod) 26 is reciprocated into the axial direction thereof by the alternative impression of a vacuum and atmospheric pressure to the air pressure operating mechanism 24 and the air deflecting board 2 is oscillated through the mounting bracket (connecting member) 16 and a cable 12. The first arms 48, 48 of both sides of the mounting bracket 16 are engaged with the flanges 50, 50 of the base 22, only the reciprocating movement in the axial direction of the diaphragm shaft 26 is permitted and the movements of the diaphragm shaft 26 in directions vertical to the axial center of the shaft 26, such as up-and-down or right-and-left direction, is regulated by the flanges 50, 50.
