Title:
AIR-FUEL RATIO CONTROLLER OF INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3219335
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To realize accurate air-fuel ratio feedback control even if deterioration of a catalyst is started.
CONSTITUTION: First and second O2 sensors 12, 13 whose output signals are suddenly changed by a theoretical air-fuel ratio are arranged upstream and downstream from a catalyst 11 for purifying exhaust gas. An ECU 20 smooths an output signal from the second O2 sensor 13 by a prescribed smoothing ratio and then compares this smoothed signal with a comparative voltage, so as to judge the air-fuel ratio of a gas engine 1. The air-fuel ratio of the gas engine 1 is feedback-controlled by this result and an output signal from the first O2 sensor 12. Moreover the ECU 20 detects the amplitude of the output signal of the second O2 sensor 13 at this time and corrects the comparative voltage so that the air-fuel ratio of the gas engine 1 may become rich according to the detected amplitude.
