Abstract:
PURPOSE: To realize the operation of the rotary air purifier of a fan corresponding to the contamination degree of air on the basis of the output of a photoelectric dust detector by finely measuring the concn. of suspended dust by said detector.
CONSTITUTION: In an air purifier B wherein the contamination degree of the air in a room is measured and a contaminant is excluded by passing the air in the room through filters 75a, 75b and the air purified corresponding to the contamination degree of the air in the room is sent into the room, a photoelectric dust detector A is used as a detector for measuring the contamination degree of air and the air purifier is subjected to stepwise operation corresponding to the contamination degree of air on the basis of the output of the detector.
