To provide an apparatus for inhibiting to affect adverse influence to an exhaust gas pressure balance to a remaining rack even by removing the rack from an exhaust facility system.
An apparatus for regulating an exhaust gas flow of a ventilating system at the time of removing a rack from the apparatus has a housing 3 for constituting a gas guide tube. A valve 9 is mounted at the housing 3 and movable between an open position at the time of mounting the apparatus at the rack and one of a plurality of preset closed positions at the time of removing the apparatus from the rack. A valve regulating member 15 selects one of a plurality of partly closed positions, and set during a test in a factory. When the valve 9 is associated in a facility and removed from the rack, the above regulation is completely automatically executed. A technician merely removes an exhaust hose 11 with the valve to automatically regulate it to a preset position (partly closed state) simulating a back pressure before removing.
