Abstract:
To prevent the condensation of steam fed to a gasifier and to thereby improve the safety of operation and the gasification efficiency.
When a steam condensation prevention cooling water supply line 20 which feeds cooling water into a burner cooling water supply line 6 from another system is connected through a valve 22, and the cooling water is supplied into the line 6 after it is heated to the saturation temperature of the steam or higher in another system, the burner 3 is kept at a temperature equal to or higher than the saturation temperature. Therefore, the steam can be prevented from condensing inside or near the inner cylinder of the burner 3.
