PURPOSE: To obtain an alarm device in which test sequence is simplified and which can detect respectives sensor connection wiring faults by providing first- fourth switching means and a test conducting means and operating the switching means by means of prescribed sequence.
CONSTITUTION: A fire/gas alarm receiver for household EQ1 is constituted by a crossover disconnection detection circuit 1, a thermal sensor operation detection circuit 2, a gas sensor fault detection circuit 3, a gas sensor operation detection circuit 4, a power source circuit 5, a test start button 6 and an acoustic stop button 7, whose one ends are connected to a power source +Vcc and the others to CPU 14, a crossover disconnection test relay 8 having a normally closed contact 8a, a gas sensor voltage test relay 9 having a normally closed contact 9a, CPU 14 and the like. Then, CPU 14 operates NPN transistors (TR) 11 and PNPTR 12 being the first-fourth switching means by previously decided sequence and the detection circuits 1-4 are tested by the input of the start button 6.
