Abstract:
To provide an alarm unit capable of preventing the generation of noise caused by a battery-operated alarm unit which has not had batteries appropriately replaced.SOLUTION: A battery-operated alarm device including a notification means for performing a start notification energizes a prescribed circuit prior to the start notification when power is supplied. Execution of the start notification is prevented by the alarm unit having been restarted by restoring battery voltage after being stopped by battery exhaustion through intentionally increasing power consumption at start up. The prescribed circuit is preferably a battery voltage detection circuit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
