PURPOSE: To reduce internal resistance and scheme to improve working performance in fabrication by arranging, between electrolyte absorbing body and anode flux, a separator which is prepared by allowing microporous resin film and cellophane to be bonded by means of ethylene-acrylic acid copolymer adhesive.
CONSTITUTION: The separator 2 which is arranged between anode flux 1 and electrolyte absorbing body 3 which is constituted of vinylon and rayon mixed paper is laminated by the substance which is prepared by allowing microporous resin film 4 having the capability of obstructing the transfer of anode active substance particles and cellophane 5 to be bonded by means of ethylen-acrylic acid copolymer adhesive 6. Into the opened part of an anode can 8 which is made of nickel-plated iron and for storing anode flux 1 and the separator 2, a cathode terminal plate 9 as cathode collector in which cathode agent 7 is filled is inserted through an annular gasket 10 which is made of resin or rubber and has a section in nearly L-figure form, and then the anode can 8 is clamped inwardly, and thus the interior of the cell is closed. Thus, internal resistance is recuced, and the working performance in fabrication can be improved.
