Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make a load voltage a constant-voltage even if the working condition has been varied, by controlling a base current of a transistor which controls voltage applied to the primary side of a transformer, by use of a load side voltage. CONSTITUTION:In order to control a transistor (TR3) which is connected to a full wave rectifying circuit Re2, the secondary voltage of a transformer T2 is applied through the full wave rectifying circuit Re2 to a bridge circuit consisting of resistors R4-R6 and a Zener diode ZD3. The control voltage of TR3 is decided by ZD3 and resistors R4, R6, and in case the voltage of the point A is smaller than the Zener voltage, a current in the bridge circuit flows in the direction of (ib) and TR3 is turned ON. In case the secondary voltage of T2 rises as AC power supply V2 rises, and the emitter side of TR3 approaches the voltage of the base side, a base current is decreased, TR3 is shifted from saturation to an active area, and the voltage to be applied to the primary side of T2 is controlled.
