PURPOSE: To produce an alumina cement composition less in swelling of a cured body, excellent in volumetric stability, and having high fluidity, high strength, high corrosion resistance, wear resistance and resistance to spalling.
CONSTITUTION: This composition is composed of 100 pts.wt. mixture consisting of 70-50 pts.wt. clinker whose mineral composition is CaO.Al2O3 and CaO.2Al2O3 and chemical component is 25-33wt.% CaO and 75-67wt.% Al2O3 and 30-50 pts.wt. α-Al2O3, and 0.8-2.0 pts.wt. additive consisting of 100 pts.wt. carboxylic acids, 40-60 pts.wt. alkali metal carbonate and 10-20 pts.wt. boric acids.
