Abstract:
To provide an aluminum alloy ingot which is advantageously usable as a raw material of an aluminum alloy material (product) having improved tensile strength.SOLUTION: An aluminum alloy ingot contains 0.3-1.0 mass% Cu, 0.6-1.2 mass% Mg, 0.9-1.4 mass% Si, 0.4-0.6 mass% Mn, 0.1-0.7 mass% Fe, 0.09-0.25 mass% Cr, and 0.012-0.035 mass% Ti, wherein in an X-ray diffraction pattern measured using Cu-Kα rays, a peak height of a diffraction peak at a diffraction angle of 2θ=41.6-42.0° is smaller than 6 times of standard deviation of X-ray intensity of a background in a range of a full width at half maximum of the diffraction peak, and in a heat-treated product after heat-treated at 450°C for 1 hour, a peak height of a diffraction peak at a diffraction angle of 2θ=41.6-42.0° is 15 times or more of standard deviation of X-ray intensity of a background in a range of a full width at half maximum of the diffraction peak.SELECTED DRAWING: None
