Title:
AMINO ACID AMIDE DERIVATIVE AND ITS PRODUCTION, AND REMOVING AGENT FOR HARMFUL PESTS USING THAT DERIVATIVE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH04230653
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a novel amino acid amide deriv. that is effective as a removing agent for harmful pests, especially as a bactericide and fungicide for protection of plants.

CONSTITUTION: This compd. is expressed by formula I, wherein R1, R2 and R4 to R6 are H or an alkyl, R3 is a cycloalkyl, each of Ar and Ar' is an aryl, aralkyl, heteroaryl or heteroarylalkyl. For example, the compd. is N2- phenoxycarbonyl-N' [rac.-1-(4-chlorophenyl)ethyl]-L-cyclopentyl glycine. The compd. is obtd. by the reaction of a substd. amino acid expressed by formula II with an amine expressed by HNR1-CR5R6Ar' in the presence of a catalyst (such as 4-dimethyl aminopyridine) and an acid binder (such as triethylamine) in a solvent such as methylene chloride at a temp. of -78 to 120°C. The obtd. compd. is especially suitable to protect tomatoes from phytophthoro.
