Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide the subject compound having serotonin antagonistic activity and acetylcholine liberating activity in good balance, useful as a medicine for digestive organ-related diseases.

CONSTITUTION: The objective compound of formula I (R1 is alkynyl, cyanoalkyl, etc.; R2 is amino, acylamino, etc.; R3 is halogen; X is O or NH; A is O or S), e.g. endo-4-amino-5-chloro-N-(8-methyl-8-azabicyclo[3,2,1]octo-3-yl)-2-[(3-pentyne-2- yl)oxy]benzamide. The compound of the formula I can be obtained by reaction of an aminobenzoic acid derivative of formula II with 3-aminotropan of formula III or tropine of formula IV. The compound of the present invention has effects, without concomitant side effects, on digestive organ-related general malaise such as chest distention feel, heartburn, nausea, or vomiting.
