Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an integrated circuit amplifier capable of furthermore conserve power.
CONSTITUTION: Since power conservation can be obtained by switching a pull- down current in a differential amplifier having a pair of emitter-follower outputs Q5, Q6, a current for driving a load only to one direction is supplied by emitter- follower elements Q7, Q8. The front stage is a cascode stage and a switching signal for switching the pull-down current is obtained from the emitter circuit of cascade stage output transistors Q3, Q4.
