Abstract:

To eliminate a scaler for scaling with regard to an output of an arithmetic circuit.

A first input voltage X from an input terminal 11 is applied to a second input voltage Y from an input terminal 12 and a specified voltage is supplied to a starting signal input terminal 13. Thus, charging of a first RC circuit 21 is started, a threshold circuit Th1 is reversed after a time corresponding to the first input voltage X, and then charging of a second RC circuit 22 is started. Then, just after a time corresponding to the second input voltage Y, a second threshold circuit Th2 is reversed. The third RC circuit is also charged after the voltage is applied to the input terminal 13. At this time, capacitors C31 and C32 are connected to the earth in parallel by a multiplexer MUX3. When the charging is completed by an output of the second threshold circuit Th2, the capacitors C31 and C32 are serially connected to the earth by the MUX3, redistribution of potential is performed, and a scaling operation is performed.
