Title:
ANALOG-TO-DIGITAL CONVERTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3115265
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce quantization noise that is caused by a frequency and to improve performance by quantizing a result which adds a signal that is undergone size adjustment to a filtered signal.
SOLUTION: This converter performs a filtering operation of a difference signal between two adjacent analog signals and a different size adjustment operation and quantizes a result of adding a signal that is size-adjusted to a filtered signal. That is, the device generates a signal that is undergone band limitation by filtering an inputted difference signal, and inputs the signal that is band-limited to an adder 34. The adder 34 adds a signal which is supplied from an integrator 32 to a signal which is supplied from a filter 33 and is band-limited, and outputs it to a quantizing part 35. The part 35 quantizes the signal into one bit data. A D/A converter 38 performs a D/A conversion of one bit stream of one bit digital data which is outputted from the part 35 and feeds back it to a difference device 31.
