Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve handling properties, to prevent the rupture of a tension member made of FRPs in base-metal strength or less and to surely introduce tensile force easily to the tension member.
CONSTITUTION: An anchor is composed of a head 20 with a conical through-hole and conical cylindrical sleeves 22, 30 fitted into the through-hole 21 of the head 20 under a closed state. One end section of a tension member 2 is fixed at one end section of a structure, and the anchor is installed at the other end under the state, in which the anchor is abutted against the head 20 and the other end section of the tension member 2 is inserted into the sleeves 22, 30. The inside of the sleeve is filled with a grout material under the state, in which the other end section of the tension member 2 is stretched.
