Title:
ANGULAR-VELOCITY SENSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0351711
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To detect an angular velocity stably by setting the first resonance frequency of a detecting member at a value which is approximately 1/2 or less of the resonance frequency of a tuning-fork type vibrator, separating both frequencies, and thereafter removing only the first resonance frequency. CONSTITUTION:The two frequencies of a first resonance frequency omega1 for a detecting member and a resonance frequency omega2 of a tuning-fork type vibrator pass through a low-order bandpass filter whose phase characteristics are made to match readily. The frequencies are inputted into a synchronous detecting circuit 34. Weights are applied. Therefore, with respect to the frequencies omega1 and omega2 contained in an input signal (a), omega1 is about 1/2 or less of omega2. An input signal (b) from a phase shifting circuit is the binary-coded signal having the frequency omega1 which is synchronized with omega1 of the signal (a). At this time, the frequency of omega1 is sufficiently lower than 1/2 of the frequency of omega2. Therefore, the component of the frequency of omega1 is completely removed from an output signal (c). Thereafter, the angular velocity wherein the frequency omega2 is stabilized can be detected without the effect of disturbance.
