Title:
ANIMATION DISPLAY METHOD FOR BRAIN WAVE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3022227
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a method which allows displaying of changes in brain waves in a real time as animation.
CONSTITUTION: In this method, an analog signal of living body of a brain wave, myoelectricity or the like as detected by an electroncephalograph undergoes a digital processing to display changes in the brain wave as animation. After the removal of noises (ST21), the brain wave is converted into digital from analog (ST22). Thereafter, the brain wave is converted to a frequency data (ST23) to be sorted into six frequency bands (ST24). Potential values of the frequency bands are used for the calculation of index values of purpose-wise training stages (ST27) via preprocessing processes (ST25, ST26). The index values are stored at an interval of about two second to calculate a running mean (ST28). The running mean is specified by combination of other index values which are obtained from a division process for dividing available values sequentially (ST29). As a result, an image cell corresponding to the combination of the index values is selected primarily (ST30). A plurality of image cells obtained at a time interval (t) are interpolated by other image cells (ST31) and the results are displayed as animation continuously (ST32).
