PURPOSE: To obtain an anisotropic conductive material having low conductive resistance and contact resistance, strength, stable resistant value even if stress is applied or it is rubbed and having little secular change by using a linear conductor as a conductor.

CONSTITUTION: An anisotropic conductive material 1 is provided with an adhesive material layer 4, which is spread on an electrode for electrostatic planting and is removed after the curing of insulation material 3 which forms a structure body, metal short fibers 2, 2... which are electrostatically planted as multiple linear conductors into this adhesive material layer 4 and an insulation material 3, which is filled among the short fibers 2, 2... and cured so as to form the structure body, with the short fibers 2, 2... oriented in thickness direction from whose obverse and reverse sides both ends of the short fibers 2, 2... are exposed, and is composed so that at least one exposed end faces of the short fibers 2, 2... is coated with conductive protecting layers 5. The short fibers 2, 2... are combined in plural number and then form an aggregate, and the short fibers 2, 2... are arranged on the surface of the insulation substrate 3 in checker board pattern.
