PURPOSE: To allow the change of the directivity of reflection of vertical and horizontal light by disposing glass or plastic members of a bobbin type having reflection parts on the rear surfaces by unifying their directions onto a plane.

CONSTITUTION: The reflection part 2 is provided in a part of the rear surface of the glass or plastic member having an exactly Rugby ball shape. Many pieces of such members which are circular in the vertical section and are bobbin-like in the vertical direction are arranged on a screen by unifying the directions on the plane vertically and horizontally. The light reflected first deviates drastically from the direction of the incident light in the direction where the section is circular but the light reflected in the reflection parts 2 return approximately in the same direction. Necessary dispersion angles can be obtd. according to whether the positions of the reflection parts 2 are shallow or deep in the direction where the section is bobbin-like. Then, such anisotropic retroreflection screen can afford the directivity of the reflection of the vertical and horizontal light and is applicable to a plane screen. A black packing material is provided on the rear surface exclusive of the reflection parts and a shielding plate is provided on the surface where the glass or plastic members 1 are adhered to each other, by which the reflectivity is improved.
