Abstract:
PURPOSE:To perform adjustment between electrodes and removal of anode supports safely by providing nonconducting parts in both end parts of the supports located in places where anode pieces are to be mounted or dismounted. CONSTITUTION:In the stage of mounting a new anode piece 3'' to the arced anode piece 3'' of an anode support 5 and removing the used anode piece 3''' in a radial cell type electroplating device, nonconduting parts 5a, 5b are provided in both end parts of an anode support 5 located in the position where the pieces 3'', 3''' are to be mounted or dismounted. The parts 5a, 5b are constituted of a synthetic resin such as chlorinated PVC with respect to the graphite constituting the body of the support 5. When the part 5a is detached from the body, the overall length of the support 5 decreases; therefore, the anode support is exchanged easily.
