Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna apparatus capable of simultaneously receiving and transmitting electromagnetic waves of different polarization and different frequencies.SOLUTION: An antenna apparatus 1000 includes: a reflection plate 100 of an EBG structure; a rectangular loop antenna 11 for a horizontal polarization; and a rectangular loop antenna 12 for a vertical polarization. The reflection plate 100 of an EBG structure is constituted of a metal ground plate 102 and rectangular metal patches 104 periodically arranged at a predetermined height from the ground plate.
