Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a beam width within a frequency band corresponding to a bandgap of a reflection plate, in an antenna device comprising a reflection plate that reflects an electromagnetic wave in a specific frequency band.SOLUTION: Provided is an antenna device comprising at least one reflection plate that reflects an electromagnetic wave in at least one specific frequency band. The antenna device comprises means of, when a structure parameter of the reflection plate is adjusted to design a bandgap of the reflection plate, calculating such a range of the structure parameter of the reflection plate that a lower limit frequency and an upper limit frequency of the bandgap are in a desired frequency band, and setting a beam width of the electromagnetic wave by adjusting the structure parameter of the reflection plate within the calculated range.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
