Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna device design method and an antenna device capable of setting the beam width of electromagnetic waves independently for each frequency, in a frequency sharing antenna handling electromagnetic waves of a plurality of different frequencies.SOLUTION: In an antenna device having a radiation element 10 radiating electromagnetic waves of a plurality of different frequencies, and a plurality of metamaterial reflectors 110, 111 reflecting the electromagnetic waves of only one frequency out of the electromagnetic waves radiated from the radiation element 10, the size of plate surface of the plurality of metamaterial reflectors 110, 111, or the clearance from the radiation element 10 thereof is determined based only on the beam width of electromagnetic waves of one frequency reflected respectively.
