Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust an anti-resonance frequency of an EBG structure section in an antenna device having the EBG structure section.SOLUTION: The antenna device includes: a dielectric substrate 1 having a first and second surfaces; antenna elements 2 and 3 formed on the first surface of the dielectric substrate 1; a ground conductor 6 formed on the second surface of the dielectric substrate 1; and an EBG structure section formed between the antenna elements 2 and 3 on the dielectric substrate 1. The EBG structure section includes: a plurality of patch conductors 4 formed on the first surface of the dielectric substrate 1 and electromagnetically coupled with the ground conductor 6; and a plurality of slits 7 formed with the ground conductor 6 partially removed so as to change the electromagnetic coupling between the patch conductors 4 and the ground conductor 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
