Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna device capable of being downsized without changing a frequency band to form a band gap.SOLUTION: An antenna device includes: an antenna radiation element for transmitting and receiving an electromagnetic wave; and a reflection plate which is constituted by laminating a plurality of layers formed by periodically arraying a plurality of first elongated shaped dielectric bodies so as to provide a space, in which layers are overlapped so that the dielectric bodies of neighboring layers are orthogonal to each other, and which reflects electromagnetic waves each having specific frequency bank. A second dielectric body different in a relative dielectric constant in comparison with the first dielectric body is inserted into a space between the first dielectric bodies in the overlapped layers.
