Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna device capable of achieving short-range radio communication even in a case where a planar coil antenna is covered with a metal cover layer.SOLUTION: An antenna device 1 comprises: a planar coil antenna 10; and a metal cover layer 51B that covers the whole surface of the planar coil antenna 10. Since a surface resistance of the metal cover layer 51B is larger than 0.25 Ω/SQ, when a part of a magnetic flux interlinking with the planar coil antenna 10 is incident upon the metal cover layer 51B, the magnetic flux leaks to the outside of the metal cover layer 51B.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
