Abstract:

To obtain an antenna device with satisfactory frequency characteristic by making constant a reception level in a reception band.

The characteristic impedance of an antenna feeder 4 is set as characteristic impedance which is almost equal to impedance obtained by adding the input impedance of a receiver 5 to the square root of the product of the impedance of an antenna 6 and the input impedance of the receiver 5, having a higher impedance than the impedance of the antenna 6, or impedance obtained by subtracting the impedance of the antenna 6 from the square root of the product of the impedance of the antenna 6 and the impedance of the receiver 5. Then, the length of an antenna feeder 4 is set as the integral number of times of almost half-wavelengths, so as to make a standing wave ratio (VSWR) in a reception frequency band constant.
