Abstract:
To provide an antenna element capable of transmitting and receiving radio waves in a 5 GHz band in addition to a 2.4 GHz band without providing a new antenna area on a board, and a printed circuit board equipped with the antenna element.SOLUTION: An antenna element has an inverted F-type antenna 2 formed in a pattern on a printed circuit board 4, and enables communication in a 2.4 GHz band, and also has a monopole antenna 3 that enables communication in a 5 GHz band. The monopole antenna 3 is formed of a first metal rod 3a having a length of a wavelength of one-fourth of a communication frequency arranged upright on a surface of the printed circuit board 4 at a specific part of a feeding pattern 21 connecting a feeding point 6 of the inverted F-type antenna 2 and a radiation element 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
