Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a radio communication device thinner.SOLUTION: An antenna 1 has a structure in which, for example, a third layer 4, a third dielectric layer 8, a first layer 2, a second dielectric layer 7, a second layer 3, a first dielectric layer 6, and antenna conductive layer 5 are stacked in this order from the bottom. The first layer 2 includes a pattern configuring an inductor. The inductor has a structure in that multiple unit elements smaller than the wavelength of an electromagnetic wave are lined, and that is made of left-handed meta-material of which the dielectric constant and magnetic permeability are both negative. The second layer 3 is a layer to produce capacity between it and the inductor of the first layer 2. The first layer 2 and the second layer 3 forms a magnetic wall by inductance made by the first layer 2 and capacitance made by the first layer 2 and the second layer 3. The third layer 4 forms an electric wall.
