Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna system for realizing a satisfactory cover range with strong directivity to a direction along a road or a passage or the like in a service zone such as a tunnel or an underground shopping area for suppressing the radiation of a radio wave to a direction at right angles to the road or the passage or the like.
SOLUTION: A bar-shaped or cylindrical or coil-shaped radiating element 1 is attached to the reflection surface of a dielectric loading metallic strip reflector 2 with a ground in an arbitrary shape so that the axial center can be vertically crossing the reflection surface. Also, a distance between the center of the longitudinal direction of the radiating element 1 and the dielectric loading metallic strip reflector 2 with a ground is set to be about 0.1-0.6 times as long as the wavelength of a use frequency. This antenna device is attached to a ceiling 3 or a wall face 5 in a space 4 such as in a tunnel or corridor or an underground shopping area.
