To prepare a skin care preparation having excellent antimicrobial activities against Trichophyton, Propionibacterium acnes, Pityrosporum ovale, or the like, and having low irritation.
This skin care preparation is obtained by formulating one or more kinds selected from the group consisting of a photosensitizer 201 (pionin), undecylenic acid, its salts and derivatives, and hinokitiol, its salts and derivatives, with a skin care preparation.
