To provide an antivibration device for a printing cylinder which is capable of minimizing the unevenness of printing by suppressing the generation of a vibration in the printing cylinder and thereby upgrading the print quality.
A printing cylinder pressing means 2 is provided outside a bearing 1 which supports a printing cylinder 10 in a freely rotatable manner and the both ends of the printing cylinder 10 are pressed by the printing cylinder pressing means 2. Thus the vibration of the printing cylinder 10 during rotation is absorbing and suppressed. In this antivibration device 1 for the printing cylinder 10 of the described function, a flexural vibration generated in the printing cylinder 10 is absorbed and the resonance caused by the rotation of the printing cylinder 10 is eliminated and further the amplitude is lowered. Consequently it is possible to realize the uniform printing and upgrade the print quality.
