Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for accumulating a culture medium, capable of furthermore facilitating handling of a culture medium for raising seedlings so as to raise mass-productivity and in its turn improving packability.
SOLUTION: This mat accumulating apparatus 210 comprises a first belt conveyor 212 and a second belt conveyor 214 and the latter is furnished with an accumulation and transportation conveyor 252 and a conveyor 254 for exclusive use of transportation. The accumulation and transportation conveyor 252 is composed of a receiving apparatus 256 and a lifting and lowering transportation apparatus 258. When a culture medium 10 for raising seedlings is transported by the first belt conveyor 212, the culture medium is received to the receiving apparatus 256, then accumulated by the lifting and lowering transportation apparatus 258. The accumulated culture medium 10 for raising seedlings is transported to a fixed packing position by the conveyor 254 for exclusive use of transportation. Consequently, the handling of the culture medium 10 for raising seedlings is furthermore facilitated and packability can be immersed.
