Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for crushing a plate-shaped material, in which the plate-shaped material (for example, a punched one) where a belt-like metallic member (for example, a metallic belt-like edge) is fixed along the thickness direction of a nonmetallic main part can be crushed efficiently in safety, and sorting treatment can be facilitated so that the sorting cost can be reduced.
SOLUTION: This apparatus is constituted so that the rotational lower edge of an upper roller 1 is made to cut into a work W, which is supported from below and conveyed by an inlet roller 2 and an outlet roller 3 that are rotary driven in the same direction, until a position lower than the upper edge of the work W of a supported/conveyed state. As a result, the steel-made belt-like edge P is deformed plastically in the direction that an opening of a bridge part B is closed and a wooden main part M is crushed by imparting pressing force to the work W from above. When the edge P is deformed plastically, the part B cuts a discontinuous part GN of a belt-like edge fixing groove G so that the edge P can be separated easily from the part M since the continuous fixing groove G is formed on the part M.
