Plural inside dies 17 for forming a prescribed inner surface shape on the inner peripheral surface of a cupped blank 4 at the outer peripheral side thereof, are arranged in the inner peripheral side of the cupped blank 4. These inside dies 17 are fitted so as to be freely slidable to the inside die base 11. A mandrel 10 for shifting the inside dies 17 to the forming position is provided. An outside die 3 for supporting this blank 4 by setting to the outer peripheral side of the cupped blank 4 and also, forming a prescribed outer surface shape on the outer peripheral surface of the cupped blank 4 at the inner peripheral side thereof, is arranged. The cupped blank 4 is brought into contact with the outside die 3 at the outer surface near the outer periphery of the bottom part 7 of the blank 4 thereof, so as to support with a gap 8 in the state where the outer surface near the center line Y does not contact with the outside die 3.
