PURPOSE: To continuously manufacture the standard length bars from molten metal state by cutting the standard length of bundled bars by the specified length with a grinder stone.
CONSTITUTION: The bar S continuously drawn out is cut with a shearing cut devices 7, 8. Then, as the shearing-cut is executed at high speed, cutting while continuously drawing out, can be executed. However, in the shearing-cut, burr, etc., is developed at the end face of bar and also the length is not accurate. By cutting the end part of shearing-cut bar S with the grinder stone cutting devices 61, 63, the end face is finely finished and the bar S having accurate length is obtd. The bars S are stored and at the time of reaching the prescribed quantity, these are bundled with a bundling device 85, and sent to the standard length cutting device 9 and bars S under bundling condition are simultaneously cut by the required length with the standard length cutting device 91.
